UPDATED: 10/02/10 08:57am

Text Box: Thanks to all the people who braved the foul weather on Saturday 19th December 2009 to come to the charity gig organised by GU4, which saw a plethora of local and further-flung musicians ‘doing a turn’ in the function room.  £324 was raised on the night plus further contributions from John and Sheila Bentham, who donated the proceeds from sales of the cd recorded on John's 60th birthday bash, and Bill Wilkes from GU4 who donated the £200 given to him by his employers as a service award. Thanks also to Rod Warner & Frank Marmion, essential ‘well-oiled cogs’ in the event’s machine! A total of £681 was presented to the public funded local children’s charity, Rainbows.
